Charlotte Brandi and Matze Pröllochs met each other in theaters. They made music for plays, they liked each otherʼs ideas and sounds, they found ways to create the time and space for their own works. As Me And My Drummer they found a unique sound and style and language - a special language as it only exists between two truly like-minded and different people. Me And My Drummer are pianos, synths, vocals and drums, talent and honesty. Today, Me And My Drummer give birth to their eagerly-awaited debut album. "The Hawk, The Beak, The Prey" is a highly personal thing. Charlotte Brandiʼs voice spreads out, open and full of images, demanding and giving out magic and life and love and faith and soul. In 2012 Me And My Drummer are one of the most encouraging bands in Berlin.

A man, a guitar, a record player and the golden Choir. As a producer of Phillip Boa, Mr. Magazine, Gary, Juli, Kettcar and Me And My Drummer Tobias Siebert had become a major figure in the music cosmos. In 2000 he founded the Berlin music label Loob Music together with Annette Herrmann where he later published his bands Delbo and Klez.e. Now he dissolves in an internal firework and a project that is more personal than anything he presented before. Accompanied by a graceful and transparent produced crackling sound of a band that only exists on the record player. And the golden choir is an attempt at deliberate deception which works, because it infatuates, touches, numbs.
